About The Event

This year, JURIX conference on Legal Knowledge and Information Systems will be hosted in Vilnius, Lithuania. It will take place on 8-10 December 2021. Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) has been chosen as a local organiser of JURIX2021. Call for papers has been issued on  July 15, 2021 (following an anouncement at ICAIL2021)

We originally planned for the conference to run in a hybrid form, with most of you coming to Vilnius and the possibility for a few to do their presentation virtually. However, due to increasing restrictions related to the COVID-19 situation in participating countries, it was decided to run the conference mainly virtually. The local organiser will still welcome participants in Vilnius, but the programme and interactions will be tailored towards an online conference.

Prestigious JURIX conferences are held annually since 1988. The proceedings of the conferences are published in the Frontiers of Artificial Intelligence and Applications series of IOS Press. JURIX follows the Golden Standard and provides one of the best dissemination platforms in AI & law. Thus, additional platforms are considered respecting the arrangements with IOS Press. Jusletter IT (jursletter-it-eu) may provide a platform for workshops.

The Jurix conference attracts a wide variety of participants, coming from government, academia and business. It is accompanied by workshops on topics ranging from eGovernment, legal ontologies, legal XML, alternative dispute resolution (ADR), argumentation, deontic logics, etc.
